TeachThought PD School Partnerships
The most effective professional learning and school growth comes from enduring conversation and work over time. While we strive to connect all of our professional development to school and district vision and purpose it is in those schools where we have deeper working relationships that we see the most impactful results. Our school partnerships can take many forms and don’t come as a packaged plan but are instead, dictated by your needs. We start by asking you questions to learn more and then propose a plan that serves as a starting point for us to co-construct that work together. Once in place we continue to revisit our shared mission and vision to evolve the work as necessary. Your partnership plan could involve any or all of the following elements:
- 6 months to several years
- professional learning workshops in any of our areas of expertise
- continued support visits both on-site and/or virtually
- professional learning community development
- lesson study sessions
- effective embedding of protocols
- co-planning and co-teaching
- internal capacity building of leadership and academic coaches
- retreats and off-site professional learning events
- access to and inclusion in a network of like-minded schools and educators
