Go Ahead And Laugh At Kid Snippets: “Math Class” (Imagined by Kids)

Recently I had the privilege to spend some time in my oldest daughter’s elementary classroom as I helped one of her teachers design and implement a fairly simple project-based learning unit. In this unit students created a tipping guide for a local restaurant and in the process learned and practiced multiplication of decimals. It was a fairly straightforward process and I enjoyed being back in the classroom during the three days I co-taught. One thing that I was reminded of? Teaching is hard.

Sometimes you just need a laugh. Raise your hand if you’ve felt like this guy in the past week!
